Yoga for Tired People and Spoonies

Gentle and accessible yoga classes for people who experience fatigue.

I teach classic Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and a slow accessible Vinyasa Flow with regular breaks.

These styles allow you to gently stretch and move your body in a way that feels good and allows for relaxation and peace of mind. In all of my classes rest is always encouraged!

I’m Klaus, and I’m a yoga and meditation teacher based in Worthing, West Sussex UK.

I’m passionate about using gentle exercise and meditation techniques that help people feel good in their bodies without pushing into fatigue, pain or flares.

I have Chronic Fatigue (M.E), Hashimoto’s disease and Fibromyalgia, and began training in yoga more seriously when my own health worsened. I wanted to find a way to keep active without hurting myself.

I trained in traditional Hatha, Astanga and Yin Yoga at an Indian yoga school in Bali, Indonesia. I learnt breath work, movement, philosophy and other traditional techniques to improve physical and mental health, that I love to incorporate into my classes.

What is ‘gentle and accessible’ yoga?

01 / Gentle and restorative yoga for Chronic Fatigue

Rather than focusing on fitness or achievement, m classes encourage mindful pacing and self-compassion. Whatever class of mine you’re in, you'll develop a greater awareness of your body's signals, helping you build a sustainable practice that supports your wellbeing while respecting your energy envelope.

02 / Move at the pace your body needs

Living with chronic fatigue means learning to listen to your body. My gentle yoga classes are designed to honour your energy levels, offering a calm, supportive space where rest is just as valuable as movement. Every posture can be adapted, allowing you to practise without pressure or expectation.

03 / Pacing-friendly yoga

By slowing down and settling into stillness, many students experience a sense of calm that can be difficult to find in everyday life. The practice offers an opportunity to enjoy movement without pushing beyond your limits.

Yoga is a fantastic exercise that can help strengthen your body and lessen symptoms of many chronic health conditions, but only is approached carefully.
