Slow Yoga for Spoonies
Gentle yoga designed for people who experience fatigue
My classes are based around Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga poses and principles, to allow you to gently stretch and tone your body, without pushing yourself into a flare.
I’m Klaus, and I’m a yoga and meditation teacher based in Worthing, West Sussex UK.
I’m very passionate about gentle exercise and meditation techniques that help people feel good in their bodies without pushing into fatigue, pain or flares.
I have Chronic Fatigue (M.E), Hashimoto’s disease and Fibromyalgia, and began training when my own health worsened, and I wanted to find a way to keep active without hurting myself.
I trained in traditional Hatha, Astanga and Yin Yoga with an Indian yoga school in Bali, Indonesia. I learnt breath work, movement and other traditional techniques to improve physical and mental health.
What is
01 / Gentle Yoga for Chronic Fatigue
Rather than focusing on fitness or achievement, these classes encourage mindful pacing and self-compassion. You'll develop a greater awareness of your body's signals, helping you build a sustainable practice that supports your wellbeing while respecting your energy envelope.
02 / Move at the pace your body needs
Living with chronic fatigue means learning to listen to your body. These gentle restorative yoga classes are designed to honour your energy levels, offering a calm, supportive space where rest is just as valuable as movement. Every posture can be adapted, allowing you to practise without pressure or expectation.
03 / Pacing-Friendly Yoga
Restorative yoga uses comfortable, fully supported postures that encourage your body to release unnecessary tension. By slowing down and settling into stillness, many students experience a sense of calm that can be difficult to find in everyday life. The practice offers an opportunity to recharge without pushing beyond your limits.

In a world that often celebrates doing more, restorative yoga offers something different: permission to slow down. Each class is an invitation to pause, breathe deeply, and discover that rest can be a powerful part of healing and self-care.
